Bob Bickel

Bob Bickel is a well-known middleware expert, a veteran of the computing industry, and an authority on software trends (play video). Bob is Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for JBoss, Inc. He was previously the General Manager of Hewlett-Packard Middleware and Executive Technology Officer at Bluestone Software, a leading J2EE application server vendor.

 

 

 

Wilshire Conferences' Enterprise Data Forum

During the Enterprise Data Forum conference, Bob Bickel participated in a panel discussion about the future of computing and software. Later that day, we interviewed Bob, John Goodson of DataDirect Technologies, and Dean Guida of Infragistics about software trends. 

Bob discussed middleware, application servers, .NET vs. J2EE, and aspect-oriented programming with Java and C#.
